Klitschko ally says new parliament should adopt new budget for 2013

The adopted national budget for 2013 contains the problem issue of
imbalance between revenues and expenses, the figures are not realistic,
therefore the parliament of the seventh convocation should adopt a new

Former Ukrainian Finance Minister Viktor Pynzenyk, who won a seat in parliament on the election list of Vitali Klitschko’s UDAR Party, has criticized the policy of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) and said it could result in serious shocks for the foreign exchange market and a deep devaluation of the national currency, UDAR’s press service has reported.

Political focus shifts to Cabinet makeup

With the noise around the Oct. 28 parliamentary election dying down, the political focus is shifting to possible changes in the Cabinet of Ministers. Half of the nation’s 18 Cabinet members have been elected to parliament. Under the law, they will have to make a choice between their current job and a lawmaker’s seat.

Opposition rallies for honest election vote count
